Risk Factors

Certain risk factors also play a role in the calculation of anesthesia charges.  The patients physical status is on of these factors.  The Anesthesia Preference attached to each plan defines how many units and what modifiers may be assigned depending on the physical status selected on the Visit.  In addition, other risk factors tied to the patients age, emergency conditions, or anesthesia technique used may come into play as well.
